It is a tour of 4 days and 3 nights with a hike demanding because they have to make a journey of 60 miles between back and forth for which it is recommended to have a good physical state. During the tour you will spend in an indigenous community called MUTANZHI. You will learn more of how is the life of a family or community kogui.

Day 1
DAY 1
Departure from the city of Santa Marta and the Sierra Nevada. Usually the tours leave at 8:30 am, so you must reach to the office of the travel agency at that time. and start this journey, as in a Jeep in the group that day until Mamey, which is a village of peasants, it will be a trip of 3 hours. In Mamey lunch and in the afternoon we began the hike. We will be arriving at approximately 5:00 pm to the first camp Camp "Beautiful View" then of Kilometres travelled: 7,6 km
Day 2
DAY 2
The hike on the second day is more demanding, so you need to start the day very early, after breakfast at 6:00 am, walk for 7 to 8 hours. The way is cleared and a part within the jungle, any party are ups and downs and there will be crossing rivers, to reach the Camp Paradise having gone 14.6 km kilometers.
Day 3
DAY 3
You have to get up at 5:30 am if you want to see the first rays of the sun on the terraces of the Lost City. From the camp paradise to the Lost City there's only a mile, climb 1,250 steps of stones to get to the first circular terraces. Will remain in the archaeological site for 2 or 3 hours to return to the camp Paradise and lunch. In the afternoon we walk 4 hours to reach the camp Wiwa. Up to this point will have been route 12 Km.
Day 4
DAY 4
Day 4 is the return to the city of Santa Marta. Will be arriving at 12:00 of the medium in Mamey where you can have lunch and take the Jeep to return to the city of Santa Marta. Will be coming to the city at 4:00 pm. Normally, the Jeep left in the office of the travel agency, where everyone goes for your account to hotels. Arrival: Mamey and Santa Marta Kilometers: 12.7 km

We had an incredible Experience with WIWA to the Lost City!! It was organised very well, with enough time for breaks when hiking, time to rest in the evenings and information from the guides! A nice amount of time was spent in the lost city and learning about the indigenous tribes!! The food and beds were good and the English translator (Cat) was brilliant!
